Sound Design

Here is a sample of works that I have created on my Music and Sound Production Technology BSc at the University of Bournemouth.

This short piece of audio is a draft (incomplete due to COVID-19) for my Dissertation titled "Soundscape-infused Ambient Composition to Reduce Stress". Ideas from Soundscape, Ambient, New Age and psychology aspects were used to create this new form of music I coined as "Alteration music".

Transforms Sound Recreation

This is a recreation of a Transformers scene creating raw recorded sounds and synths using Cecilia and Sound Grain. The aim was to create background and foreground sounds to fill the scene of the visuals for a final year university project. I created Dialogue, Walla & Sound FX, as well as Music and Foley before exporting in 5.1 surround sound.

Jurassic Park Musical Themes

This was an Advanced Recording and Production project where I recreated 4 different musical themes for one film scene from Jurassic Park. The aim was to create different types of mood, by manipulating instruments and production techniques.

Sound Design for Moving Image Practice

This is a piece of moving image for which I had to create raw sound design to experiment with sound creation. I used synchresis techniques, careful stereo microphone placements and Cecilia to achieve this.

I went to Barcelona for my placement year during my third year at university where I worked with Leo Aldrey, CEO of AudioBend. Here are some major projects that I produced and composed using sound design and effects. These include visual effects, idents and advertisement campaigns.
